Website scope
This notice covers the Coliseum Counsel website and preliminary communications. The handling of information for an accepted engagement is addressed separately through engagement terms and applicable legal and professional obligations.
Browsing and hosting
The website files do not include advertising pixels, analytics scripts, embedded maps, chat widgets or third-party font requests. They do not set their own cookies or use browser storage to save visitor activity.
Cloudflare, the hosting provider, may process technical information such as IP addresses, requested pages, browser information and timestamps to deliver, secure and troubleshoot the site. Essential hosting or security technologies may also apply. Provider settings and legal obligations affect the processing and retention of those records.
The inquiry draft tool
Information entered in the optional inquiry tool is processed in the current browser page to prepare an email draft. The tool does not transmit those entries to a website server or save them to cookies or browser storage. Changing pages or reloading ordinarily clears the page state, although browser features may restore form entries.
Choosing “Open email app” passes the draft to your device’s email application. Choosing “Copy draft” places it on your device’s clipboard. Your browser, operating system and email provider may handle that information under their own settings and policies. Nothing is sent to Coliseum Counsel until you send the email.
Information you send
If you email Coliseum Counsel, the information received may include your name, organization, email address, message and ordinary email metadata. Microsoft 365 supports the professional mailbox. Other service providers may process information as needed to operate professional systems.
Preliminary information is used to assess the inquiry, conduct conflict review, respond and administer professional records. Please limit an initial message to general information. Do not send confidential material, sensitive personal information or attachments until an appropriate process has been agreed.
Disclosure and retention
Personal information is not sold or shared for targeted advertising. Information may be made available to service providers supporting professional operations, or disclosed when required or permitted by applicable law and professional obligations.
Inquiry information is kept as reasonably needed to evaluate and respond to the matter, maintain conflict and administrative records, and meet legal or professional requirements. No fixed deletion period is promised for professional records.
Questions and requests
You may ask about personal information you have supplied, request a correction or request deletion by emailing Tiffany Cruz Oates at [email protected]. Requests will be considered subject to identity verification and applicable legal, professional and recordkeeping requirements.
Changes to this notice
This notice may be updated as website features and professional systems change. Material changes to data collection should be reflected here before the new features are used.
